This coffee is from Laura Junquiera, owner of Fazenda San Jose Condado. The Fazenda is old, from the mid-1800's, and Laura is a 3rd generation farmer and owner of the Fazenda. They employ an unusually large staff, because they believe in very selective hand-picking, as opposed to the mechanical processed common throughout Brazil.
As a pulped natural, acidity is on the lower side, but rich sweetness is key: dark chocolate covered hazelnuts, zucchini bread, almost a peanut butter cookie nuttiness, and dried fruit (apple and apricot). Amazing espresso and chuggable drip.
