Arisarina Cooperative was founded in 2013, with the goal of improving local coffee quality, utilizing techniques from around the globe. They offer expertise to the member growers, and encourage unusual-for-Indonesia practices like planting shade trees.
This coffee is wet-hulled, and offers that viscous, deep-toned Sumatra experience many adore, with loads of cacao, toasted almond, cigar tobacco, stewed dark fruit, and a whiff of pine. This makes a stout cup of drip, or a heavy-bodied, thick espresso.
