Fazenda San Jose sits in Minas Gerais, and the farm has been run by the Freitas family since 1963. For 15 years now, they've implemented solar energy, organic farming, conservation efforts which exceed legal requirements, integrated bee colonies, C02 neutralization, and the farm is Rainforest Alliance certified.

None of that means much if the coffee isn't good, but we're in luck: toffee is the anchor here, providing deep sweetness, with both orange marmalade and fresh squeezed orange juice, mild cinnamon spice, and citrus blossom florals rounding it out. Good as drip and makes excellent single origin espresso!
