Agronomist Danilo Andrade has made a name for himself turning out excellent coffees from his farm Terra Nova, and sister farm Zaroca. Only purchased on 2017, Danilo and his son have worked hard to elevate the coffee quality of the farm, utilizing cutting edge practices, as well as technology, to improve the output and quality; the farm recently received Rainforest Alliance and Carbon Neutral certifications.
Natural processing is common in Brazil, but this coffee has a short 28hr anaerobic component added to the processing. Notes of cacao and molasses create a thick, deep toned cup, with almond roca sweetness, dried raspberry, and juicy apricot rounding it out. Good for espresso and drip!
