Like most espresso blends, this blend has changed since I first offered it, as new coffees are cycled in and out every season. My goals are still the same: to create a blend that will please an espresso novice, as well as a pro-barista; a blend that'll taste good straight or in milk; and one that will remain easy to work with.
The current iteration of Torro fulfills all those parameters. It's comprised of Brazil, Ethiopia, Colombia, and Sumatra. It's thick and sweet, with a nice tangy acidity, and creamy berry overtones from the Ethiopia. It's outstanding as a straight espresso, and holds up very well even in long milk drinks. I'm very proud of this blend, I hope you'll enjoy!
Shipped in 1lb bags.

One of the best espresso beans available. I have tried a few different brands, but this one is consistently delicious.

Wife is European. Espresso is life, and we haven't found a better option state-side.

I can't get over how consistently good Espresso Torro has been over several years. Hands-down the best roasted espresso bean we've had.

I have been home roasting for a while. Fairly new to buying fresh roasted beans. These are great. Very smooth and clean shot on a flair signature. I do like that it comes as a whole pound as well

I first brewed the roast in a regular coffee maker for my typical "in a rush" morning start. It was flavorful, bold, and delicious.
Then I broke out the espresso maker and WOW!
This blend is robust without the acidic aftertaste of so many commercial coffees. There is just a hint of multiple flavors that match perfectly to produce a delightful pick-me-up!
I highly recommend this product!

After trying a lot of different espresso blends, this is the one that I'm back to. It's so consistent and produces beautiful crema. Every time I try a new blend, I find myself ordering another lb. or 2 of this!

I was made aware of West Coast Roasting after hearing about them on a thread in a car forum. I decided to try them out first after purchasing my first expensive espresso (Astra Pro) machine? I really liked it but decided to sample others to figure out what's the best espresso out there. After sampling a wide array of the most popular espressos out there, I'm back ordering from W.C. because the espresso Toro is THE BEST by far in my opinion.
Love how it grinds and tamps. The crema with the Toro is far superior to any I have been able to produce with other espressos. The flavor is also tops with the Toro blend, not too strong but strong enough. Little bit sweet but not too much. Love it, love it!

I've been buying this one, on and off, for a number of years now. Its kind of like a stand by, when I want to come back to something just consistently great. Recently I've been doing a lot more SO experimenting, so haven't ordered any for a while, but its nice to know its still here ;)
